About Gulf Shores CrossFit
Gulf Shores CrossFit was started in 2015 by Jim and Alicia Barton. It has moved through several different locations across Gulf Shores since then until reaching the current location in 2017. It is a large space with multiple garage doors to help with air flow as well as outdoor workouts!
Unfortunately, Alicia passed away suddenly in August of 2019 and Jim decided to sell Gulf Shores CrossFit. Starting in January of 2020, Gulf Shores CrossFit gained a new logo and an updated space along with the new owners. The new owners love working with the amazing community of athletes, drop ins and future members and the community that has grown here is amazing! They have grown the family since then and are doing a great job!
Whether you are a seasoned CrossFit athlete, just want to get moving with one of the Boot Camp classes or anything in between, come join them and see their updated space.

What is CrossFit
I feel like the Gulf Shores CrossFit website says it best:
"One of the things that makes CrossFit so unique is our community of people from literally every walk of life: stay-at-home parents, elite athletes, students, CEOs, members of the armed services, firefighters, you name it. CrossFit bodies – our bodies – come in every imaginable size, shape and age; and yet, our workouts every day, are designed for anyone to do them.
At its core, the CrossFit business is about the individual client who shows up at the gym hoping to improve her fitness, whether she’s a triathlete stuck in a training rut, a retired accountant or a 38-year-old mother of three looking for the energy to recover from a cancer diagnosis and double-mastectomy.
There is a price for admission: you have to exert yourself, but you will be better for it and the community will cheer you on every step of the way!"
